Corporate Philosophies
We Believe:
* that a disciplined executive search firm considers all potential avenues of candidate identification (personal network of contacts, out-placement firms, candidate data systems, the Internet and advertising), but that the focus and primary thrust of any search project must be to research, identify and attract those individuals not necessarily "on the market";
* that the best executive search consultants anticipate indifferent and/or hesitant reactions from candidates when first approached, and then persistently, professionally and honestly represent opportunities;
* that the hiring process is largely the process of benchmarking and that good search firms will produce a selection of highly qualified candidates from which a hiring decision can be made;
* that discretion, professionalism and confidentiality are paramount to a search's success;
* that full disclosure, honesty and openness between client and consultant is essential;
* that all key search activities and findings should be documented in writing;
* that a good search consultant does not end his/her role upon a hiring decision, but instead, continues to regularly liaise between client and new hire to ensure a smooth transition;
* that good search firms embrace the importance of meaningful, long-term client relationships. This augments a search firm's ability to add value that extends beyond recruiting activities to include future strategic interaction;
* that an ethical search firm does not recruit from clients ... period.
